Surveillance

Surveillance may yield the peace of mind and case winning evidence you require. Determine activities of a specific subject or subjects. Our licensed detectives can travel to the subject's residence, business, hotel or other locations, observe and document activities related to associates and unknown persons.

Still photographs and/or video can be obtained, if required, to develop evidence on the subject and associates of the subject. Charles Hess Investigations Inc. uses state of the art low light digital equipment, high power lenses, body worn cameras and infrared technology to accomplish day and nighttime surveillance and documentation.

Mobile surveillance can also be conducted. Vehicle license plates can be identified; photos identified, criminal and civil records can be obtained on associates and the subject with all activity and movement being documented.

All surveillance is confidential. Surveillance evidence may be used in civil and criminal cases or as needed by the client. Detectives will also be present at depositions with documented surveillance evidence that was obtained in the field. Detectives will appear for court testimony upon request/subpoena of the client/attorney.

Surveillance can be conducted Nationwide, as long as the case originates in Maryland. We have contacts that are licensed and available for surveillance in any location in Maryland and Nationwide. Background Checks

Investigators can conduct research on a specific subject(s). Investigators will obtain civil and criminal records, property records, past and present addresses used, vehicles and watercraft owned, interview witnesses, obtain signed affidavits from witnesses, and/or obtain recorded statements of fact.

Background investigations may include surveillance, if physical verification of an actual address is required by the client. Comprehensive background checks can also include witness interviews and other investigative methods. You can review these options with your investigator to determine which background check suits your needs. 

Investigative Research - All Fifty States

We will dispatch a licensed detective to any local, state or federal courthouse or police department nationwide to obtain public records or research other available public data. Records can include small claims files, tax records, personal property records, real estate records, child support records, federal bankruptcy records, civil and criminal records, law enforcement arrest records. In addition, our detectives can also meet with law enforcement on a local, state or federal level, on your behalf, to discuss an unsolved case or assist in the investigation. Our investigators are trained to obtain all the facts and develop key evidence on any type of case that you wish investigated. Our online databases cover all fifty states and may be used as a starting point prior to sending a detective into the field.
